Enquanto população espera por melhoras, obras na comunidade Titanzinho estão apenas no papel

As tão esperadas obras de urbanização no Titanzinho continuam apenas no papel. Elas fazem parte do projeto Aldeia da Praia, da Prefeitura. “Não aconteceu nada até agora, mas na maquete está muito bonito”, afirma a pensionista Francisca Mendonça, 59. “Estou me sentindo lesado, sem respostas. A Prefeitura vem, oferece uma coisa e some”, desabafa o educador social Cleiton Silva, 38.

A única novidade foi o cadastramento das famílias da região pela Prefeitura, realizado no início do segundo semestre de 2011. “Marcaram essas casas e não explicaram nada. As pessoas ficaram doentes, chorando e tomando calmante, porque não sabem para onde vão. E a gente não tem resposta pra dar”, protesta a coordenadora de Arte e Cultura da Associação Comunitária Vila do Mar, Marlene Cunha.

Os moradores também se mostraram irritados com a falta de diálogo da Prefeitura, que não teria deixado claro o que pretende fazer na área. “Na última reunião, eles disseram que ainda não tem projeto fechado. E pediram que a gente fizesse sugestões. Não concordamos. Acho que eles já tem projeto pronto e nós queremos discutir em cima dele”, diz Carlos Irlando, presidente da Associação Vila do Mar.

A pensionista Francisca Mendonça diz que muitos moradores não acreditam mais que o projeto seja concretizado. “Muita gente já está reformando as casas (achando que não vai ter mais desapropriação), mas acredito que vai dar certo”, afirma, otimista.

A região foi alvo de um intenso debate no primeiro semestre de 2010, quando o Governo do Estado demonstrou o interesse de construir um estaleiro na Praia do Titanzinho. A prefeita Luizianne Lins colocou-se radicalmente contra e apresentou como alternativa o projeto Aldeia da Praia.

Ele prevê ações de requalificação urbana, social e ambiental na área do Titanzinho e Serviluz, como a construção da praça Jardim da Praia – próximo ao farol do Mucuripe -, com quadras poliesportivas, quadra de areia, skate park, playground, área para musculação e um mirante. Além disso, prevê também implantar uma Via Paisagística no entorno do Serviluz, com três pistas de tráfego, calçadão, ciclovia e arborização.

The pensioner Francisca Mendoza says that many residents no longer believe that the project is realized. "Many people already are renovating houses (thinking it will get more expropriation), but I believe it will work," he says, optimistically.

The region has been the subject of intense debate in the first half of 2010, when the State Government has shown interest to build a shipyard at the Beach Titanzinho. The mayor Luizianne Lins stood strongly against and presented as an alternative design of the Beach Village.

He predicted shares of urban regeneration, social and environmental area and Titanzinho Serviluz, such as the construction of the square Garden Beach - near the lighthouse Mucuripe - with courts, sand court, skate park, playground, fitness area and a lookout. Moreover, it provides also deploy a Via Landscape surrounding the Serviluz, with three lanes of traffic, pedestrian, bicycle paths and tree planting.
