“O boletim informativo sobre a dengue em Fortaleza, a ser
divulgado hoje à tarde pelas autoridades do Estado e Município e que já
está lançado no sistema de monitoramento do Ministério da Saúde, deve
admitir oficialmente que há um quadro de epidemia na Capital. E, de
forma preocupante, que a presença do vírus Tipo 4 da doença –
considerado mais grave porque ainda não havia se manifestado
epidemicamente na cidade – agora está disseminado.
Deverá ser informado que já são exatos 7.055 casos da dengue na Capital em 2012, conforme O POVO apurou junto a uma fonte da Secretaria Municipal da Saúde. Outro dado, extra-oficial, é que há outros 4.200 registros, ou pouco mais que isso, que já tiveram confirmação laboratorial prévia, mas que não teriam sido lançados a tempo no mesmo relatório emitido ao Ministério.
Somados, os casos então passariam de 11 mil desde o início do ano. Será mais de três vezes e meia o que foi apresentado no último boletim, entre uma semana epidemiológica e outra. De janeiro até o último informe (dia 20 de abril), Fortaleza apontava o total de 3.033 casos de dengue – até então com 38 sendo hemorrágicos e 21 indo a óbito. O POVO não obteve dados de mortes do novo boletim.
Reuniões estratégicas
O quadro epidêmico foi tema de uma reunião, ontem pela manhã, entre os secretários da Saúde Arruda Bastos, do Estado, e Ana Maria Fontelene, do Município, com técnicos da área. Hoje, segundo confirmou o coordenador de Proteção e Promoção à Saúde, Manoel Fonsêca, haverá mais duas reuniões estratégicas. O encontro terá gestores do controle de endemias e da área assistencial, para definir como será o atendimento nos hospitais e postos de saúde e o encaminhamento dos pacientes.
Fonsêca não quis confirmar os números da doença obtidos pelo O POVO – “só posso prestar informações após o boletim divulgado, quem deve falar é o Município” -, mas chegou a dizer que há uma “nova situação” em Fortaleza.
“O número é muito grande, bem acima do esperado. Para nós é uma situação bastante preocupante”, admitiu o diretor do Hospital São José, Anastácio Queiroz. O HSJ é referência em atendimento epidemiológico. Segundo ele, funcionários do setor de coleta de sangue (para exames) têm rejeitado trabalhar hora extra, diante da alta demanda no expediente normal.
O POVO tentou contato com a assessoria de imprensa da Secretaria Municipal da Saúde. Foram feitas diversas ligações, a partir das 18h até as 20h, mas os celulares disponíveis não foram atendidos.”
